We currently have an opening for a Marketing Professional in our Payroll and HR software business which arises because of an expansion in the company’s sales and marketing effort.
We are looking for someone to take full responsibility for the planning, production and distribution of all marketing effort including promotional material and direct marketing as well as management of the company’s web presence including SEO. This role will also include the organisation and attendance of company and industry events. The overriding responsibility of the role is to raise the profile and awareness of the company leading to more inquiries from prospects, more visits for the sales team and more sales.
The company has a new management team willing to give the right candidate a blank canvas upon which to work unhindered and the chance to make his or her mark in the industry. The role will require liasing with the front line sales force and the management team and will, therefore, need excellent verbal and written communication skills. This role currently encompasses the entire marketing spectrum but as time goes by there will be opportunity to specialise as the company and in particular the sales and marketing effort grows.
The successful candidate will be CIM qualified (or have a relevant marketing degree) and be able to demonstrate practical marketing knowledge. He or she will also be expected to have at least a basic technical knowledge and be able to learn how to use our products to a level where he or she can talk and write about them.
Excellent time management, strong copy and proof reading skills, attention to detail and the ability to turn their ideas into a reality will also be required.
In order to showcase your enthusiasm and skills, we invite you to produce either
1) A two year marketing plan for SfP
or
2) A personal marketing plan for your personal roadmap for where you want to be in the next two years.
There is no right or wrong answer in what we are looking for in this task; rather it is to demonstrate your theoretical knowledge, enthusiasm and ideas.
Please send your marketing plan, together with your CV, to Keiron Smith at:
