Payroll Administration

Course Overview
This course is designed to provide attendees with the knowledge and skills to competently support the processing of a payroll. The course focuses on empowering trainees to navigate and enter data into SfP World Service confidently and efficiently. Trainees will also be able to report on statistical information using pre-defined reports and print letters relating to payroll function.

  • Understand the Relationships Between Records
  • Handle New Starters/Leavers
    • Enter Employee Payroll Details
    • Enter National Insurance records
    • Enter P45 Joiners/ Starter Declarations
    • Enter Employee Court Orders or AEO's
    • Enter Tax Code records
    • Setup Student Loan Deductions
    • Assign Cost Centres to Employees
    • Action a Leaver
  • Setup regular payments
  • Setup regular deductions
  • Make one off payments
  • Make one off deductions
  • Enter P6/P9 tax notices manually
  • Print P60's/P45's
  • Prepare Reports
  • Print Letters Using SfP World Service

Trainees should be familiar with working with PC's in a Microsoft Windows environment.
